With 650 km of marked ski runs the Portes du Soleil is the biggest ski area in the world. Located between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, from the peaks of “Mossettes” or “Chamossière” to the forest paths of the Lindarets or Morgins there are ski slopes for all levels of skiing and views that will take your breath away.
There are plenty of other activities to keep you occupied in the evenings or if you don't want to ski or snowboard. Ice-diving, parapenting, hot-air ballooning, husky sledding, ski-do safaris, snowshoe walks etc. etc.
If you would rather spend your time at a slower pace, take a ride in a horse drawn sleigh, visit the cheese maker or enjoy a massage.

Beginners

If you've never been skiing or boarding before then we will do everything we can to ensure you get the most enjoyment out of your stay with us. We can pre-book lessons for you and arrange in house ski and board hire. If you want advice on what to bring (and what not to) we can do that too. On your first day we will show where to get the bus if you need to, which lifts to get on and where the ski school meets. We can point out the places we liked and those we hated when we were starting out and help you plan routes as well as giving advice about good places to stop to eat and where the public toilets are.
